Hi Curt -

Whenever I create a remote OUTQ to print to a network printer I can not
select how many pages I want to print. It always prints out every page.
Is there a way to set up a remote OUTQ to be "smarter" or am I missing
something?

IMO, the best bet, *when possible*, is to create a LAN printer device rather than a remote outq.

A LAN printer device gives you all of the normal printer functionality without having to jump through hoops.

Unfortunately there are some network printers for which there is no compatible LAN printer definition, but I've found those to be very few. Usually there is some printer emulation mode that can be configured in the printer which is compatible with some printer model available for the LAN printer device. Of course what is available for LAN printer devices is going to depend on what release of the operating system that you are running.
