I've got an issue with FTP that I'm not able to resolve. I've got a need to send a file from a 370 to our FTP server. Once the file hits the server(Windows 2003),

You're sending a file from a System/370 to a Windows 2k3 machine? Does this have something to do with an iSeries? I'm lost.

I need to execute an external command using that received file. Question: Is there a way to do this and is there a convention on the server side to add to the list of valid FTP actions that can be performed.

Which system are you trying to run a command on? I'm confused. What does running a command have to do with FTP?

You want to add to the available FTP actions? I wasn't aware that this is possible.

The only convention that I'm aware of for adding custom server-side commands, is that it should be a SITE command.
