It is a paging terminal and I do not know the command that the menu
option trigger.

I could try socket into it. However, I'm not familiar with Telnet
protocol to navigate the menu and exec the option.

I was wondering if it can be done using some type of script process like
ftp.

What kind of remote system?

*nix? Windows?

If the system supports the rexec protocol and the menu option can be
invoked via a command line, then you might be able to use the RUNRMTCMD
command.

Otherwise, you might be able to write a basic TCPIP program that
connects to port 22 on the remote system and invoke the command that way
... although it's not the easiest way in the world.
