Scott,
Been through the troubleshooting steps.
My network went through it yesterday and I just went through it.
I did the journaling of the components, but I didn't see anything
showing a problem, but its very possible I missed something, because I
couldn't find any subcodes mentioned in the document about journaling.

I just tried the command you posted and I still get the same results.
Nothing.

I've got to be missing something simple. I guess I'll start at the
beginning again tomorrow.

Have you followed the e-mail troubleshooting steps in the Information
Center? including the bit about journaling the components?

E-mail is documented here:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/topic/rzair/rzairg
etstart.htm

or, if you prefer:
http://tinyurl.com/7skgm

Scroll down to where it says "Troubleshoot e-mail", and click that link.

I'm not familiar with /QTMP -- never heard of it before -- but if you
have
lots of entries in /TMP, that might be an indication that you're having
a
problem with the "restrict rename and unlink" thing that's been
discussed
here a few times in the past. An easy solution to that is to do:

CHGATR OBJ('/tmp') ATR(*RSTDRNMUNL) VALUE(*NO)
