In summary:

DSPLOG MSGID(CPF1124 CPF1164) will work to check in the past.  "Might" be 
good enough for future use.

Possible future enhancements include:
- Scott's exit point suggestion
- Jonathan's suggestion on INLPGM and wrapper for SIGNOFF.
- Evaluating journalling.
