Well, why not mount the IFS as a drive, copy to IFS, then do a sbmrmtcmd from the windows box to init the
proc on the 400/i5/iseries/(??) ??

But if it used to work flawlessly, my curiosity would be to what changed? FTP should work fine. Did someone punch up a firewall on that box? Did you put a Windoze SP on there that bumped up the security and now you're having problems?

(replacing an existing file) and then call a processing program. This is to

fails every 10th time or so...and is driving me up a wall.
