   Found it - What I did was (on V5R3);

Start server in Series Navigator > My connections > (server name) >
Network > Servers > TCP/IP > HTTP Administration (right click, select
   start)
open a browser to http://servername:2001 and signon.
click on "IBM Web Administration for iSeries" link
   click on the Manage tab
select the server that I want to get rid of
   Click on the Delete button.

Now delete the folder in QIBM > UserData folder in the IFS

The instance was stopped when I brought up the browser management link. I
had already stopped it in iSeries Navigator.

I just installed the network version, but now that the web version
     has
changed, it says it can't update it. I also am doing a hardware
     upgrade,
(unload/reload) and now want to remove it, but don't know where all
     the
parts are. I know the files are in QIBM subdirectory. How does the
server autostart? I need to take that away before I delete the files
     out
        from underneath it.

With all the griping about InfoCenter, I was wondering why more
     folks
don't use 1.8GB of disk on their PC for the local copy of
     InfoCenter.
I've been using it for about a year now, ever since I got a V5R3
     box.
It can update the manuals over the internet so it stays current.
Granted, that's a manual process but it works. And it definitely
     loads
& responds faster. Seems to work fine in both IE & Firefox.
