It does nothing of the sort.  Here is the FUD.  You say 'neglecting',
which means to ignore or disregard.  IBM has done no such thing in my
estimation.  If you want to make such comments, I say -- prove it.  Why
do you routinely write inflammatory messages here?  In fact, why do you
write code on iSeries at all if it's such a bad platform as you seem to
routinely suggest?

No, I advocate using RPG because of it's improvements.  Again: CL means
'Control Language'

It might be a nice addition.  I don't think that many folk are clamoring
to call their procedures from CL.  None of my customers are making such
requests.  In any case, there is a CALLPRC command already in the
language.  So far, you are the only one I've heard ask for improvements.
Have you asked IBM to improve it?  When?

I think there are better ways to call procedures on this platform.  Call
them from RPG or C.
