RE: Transfer libraries from one box to another

There are a few ways this may be done.  You can save each library into a
save file (one library to a save file) and transmit the save file(s) via
SNADS (SNDNETF), receiving the save files (WRKNETF), and restoring from the
save files.  This method tends to be rather slow.

FTP may be used to transmit the save files also, if you have the FTP server
setup.  You must create the save files on the target system and specify the
BINARY option within FTP.  This method is substantially faster than SNADS.

I believe there is also a SAVRST command that will accept the remote
location name and transmit the objects over automatically.  The object names
have to be specified as '/QSYS.LIB/LIBRARY.LIB/*'.  I don't know how the
objects are transmitted or what other setup must be done.

Then there's the old reliable method of saving the objects to tape and
restoring them from the tape on the other machine.
