HI Glen,

Apart from all the other good advice received, here is one suggestion.

You can enter the new IP address for the 400 so long and activate it. The 
network chaps can then change the config on the PC's so long. On the day of 
the final cut-over, you can stop the IP iinterface for the old address. All 
workstations or users complaining will be those who have not yet been 
migrated. Should there be too many, just start the address again and finally 
remove it when all is done.

Just a thought.
