The current IxS tops out at 4GB RAM.  I've got one.  It has 4 RAM slots,
each of which can accept a 1GB DIMM.

An IxA-attached server is limited only by what the xSeries server
supports.  I've got a VMWare server on order, expected any day, that
will IxA attach to our 570.  It's an xSeries 366 with quad Xeons and
16GB RAM.
