If you're already set up to email, I'd strongly consider an email-to fax 
gateway.

You'd simply use 15551231234@xxxxxxxxxxxx as the customers email address and 
forget about it.  No changes required on your part.

Given that the numbers are mostly long distance, the .08 a page Maxemail 
charges would probably be pretty close to what the long distance changes would 
be anyways.
