Dave, you do press F13 to change the current value, for this
source member.

Al, when you save it for a particular type, It defaults the next
time you access that member type to the way you left it.

Not on my system it doesn't. In edit mode in SEU you have to use F13 -
Change Session Defaults. Then page down to "Default to uppercase input for
this source type". What you set there is remembered by member type.
