Jeff, I haven't used the 140GB drives on old hardware.  However,

- Will you combine the multiple drive sizes into a single ASP?

If I were looking at the 140s, I wouldn't want to mix them with 
35G or smaller drives in the same ASP.  I'd be afraid the 140s 
would get cremated with requests while the 35s sit idle.  Even if 
I was already using 70G drives, I might be concerned about how I 
mix and match.  

I'd also want to have the 2780 FC IOAs to get the big caches for 
read and write "buffering" of my IO requests.  

Of course, if you have the need for TBs, the 140s will certainly 
provide them.  Just make sure you get enough of them to support 
the quantity of reads and writes you want to push at them.
