A generator set can certainly be used for a few days.

I would check with the local industrial rental companies
that have the very large gen set. These are BIG Onan
gen sets on wheels that can towed directly to the location.

A small I5 could be run by a portable generator without
too much trouble.(folks in Florida know about these things)
They can bought for well under $500 at any Sam's Club.


Depending on area of Floida, I would look at "Sunbelt Rentals"
if they are in the area. There MANY other industrial tool
rental places.
