I'd also suggest that you view the error log immediately after using F6 to turn off the light, just to make sure that you don't miss any errors that occurred during the time interval necessary to turn the light off.

We have a 520 also and our CE taught me to turn off the light myself. It's
done by using F6 to "Acknowledge All Errors" in the SERVICE ACTION LOG
option in the hardware service manager of SST.

Good luck getting the CE to take the time.  Dave is in training so it was
"Tom" who was here yesterday.  Knew his stuff OK but got paged at least 6
times when he was here. Busier than a one-arm paper hanger with jock itch.
