You may want to check on the BPCS mailing list, but the quick answer is that
my company is and it's not a problem.

The last couple of OS releases have had special PTFs for BPCS 6.X onwards
because those versions use imbedded SQL statements.  Version 405 is "dumb"
enough (read native enough) that IBM would have to break OPNQRYF or RPG in a
big way to cause a problem.

All the usual disclaimers on reading the installation instructions, notes to
users, etc. still apply.
