If I read that correctly, I can have only connection open at a time.  So I 
would not be able to SQL-query both databases at the same time?

I was hoping to be able to do something like this:

SELECT * FROM SERVER43/PROD/CUSTOMER,SERVER52/PROD/CUSTOMER WHERE ....
