You've displayed the object description, but not the file description. The default maximum number of records for a file is 13,000 (10,000 plus three increments of 1000 each). Use DSPFD to determine how many records the receiving file can hold.

This is making us pretty nuts. They are sending the file as one huge field. They create a uniquiely named file in library Gentran each time they send. It used to work, but the files were smaller. Gentran wraps it ok at 32766 when I upload it manually from email. However when they FTP it, it can't get in. Until a few days ago, I had no authority to wrkactjob and other 'system' commands. I am not sure of the FTP server name to check the job log for it. I will have to dig.
