Jim,

I think the key is that when you do an "01 D M" install of the OS from
tape, the DST password is the one that is on the tape.  That is, the
DST password when the tape was created using go save option 21.   If
this is correct, you should be able to reinstall the system using a go
save option 21 tape from another system.  When prompted for the DST
password, the valid password will be the password from the other
system.
