Subject
Re: Doohickey to visually show relationships between files

I'd like a doohickey similar to the original post - but, more.
[Original post: So I guess I'm looking for a tool that allows me to plug
in file names
which, in turn, lists fields defined, and perhaps "click & drag"
connectors
that show relationships as I discover them.}

Many months ago I started entering files into a VISIO document. Quite
labor intensive. Just a file or two now and then.
Now that we are going to Visual Studio, I wish I had put more time into
it. It looks like I can import a schema into VISIO, but where would I
get it?

I could use Enterprise Manager to create a diagram, but the problem is
still: How can I get the information from each file on our iSeries in a
format that this diagrammer can interpret? I sure don't want to start
keying all over again.

Does iSeries Navigator do something like that? I don't care which one I
use as long as I can get something to paper my wall with. Exporting to
the Enterprise Manager diagrammer would be much, much better, though.

[Another post: Yes, take a look at the "Database Navigator" in the
Database section of iA

Probably won't do what the original poster wants since to show the
referential links between tables you have to actual have referential
keys
defined.]

Thanks for your help
