Is the job just restoring *SAVF's?

If the job log doesn't show anything useful, you could try doing a DSPSAVF
library/save_file on one of the save files and see if it contains anything.
If it doesn't then you know the restore hasn't got that far, if it does then
you can try again on one further down your list.  I would use PDM to browse
the restore library with the save files and then use option 5 to view the
contents of the save file.
