Although, you could code a selection in a front end and do the ovrprtf
depending on which selection was taken.
This would seem to be the iSeries solution.

It seems your solution is a programming solution which is not an
option
from an application front end.  Only printers are available in a
front-end.  Therefore, there must be another solution that fits the
problem.
