STRPCO / STRPCCMD works fine too, since this is interactive.  The command
would simply be "START http://url_to_document.htm";

You're right, that's what he's saying. The problem with that is, you have 
to be able to change the emulation software, which Lim has already said is 
too big of a project, so he's looking for something simpler.

I think Sudha's suggestion is an interesting alternative. Of course, he'd 
have to get rexec software for the PCs, but it would allow the opening of 
a browser window.

IMHO, the best alternative is to get rid of the green screen and go with a 
web interface. At that point, a clickable link is REALLY easy, plus you'll 
have modernized your interface and eliminated any need for 5250 
altogether.

But, of course, that's even more work :)
