Sorry typo. The api is QUSRJOBI, the JOBIO100 format returns the status at
51-60 position.
Thanks, -s

Subject: RE: Submit job in CL

Hi Malini,
We have used data area in the past where each job that has been submitted will
make an entry about the job. When it ends (right before LR), it places a flag
in the data area against its job which can be access easily by submitting
cl/rpg. On the other hand, you could also check if the job is completed using
API - GETJOBSTI with the job information.
HTH,
Thanks,
Sudha

Subject: Submit job in CL

Dear members,

I have a CL program program that submits 3 jobs - Job A , Job B, Job C.

The CL program needs to submit a 4th job too - Job D - BUT only on completion
of the previous three jobs.

How will the logic to submit the 4th job on completion of the first 3 be
incorporated in the CL program ? - Also we don't have the full qualified name
of any of the jobs

Thanks in advance,
Malini
