RE: 10 character User profile

On my V5R1 system, I just did a "crtusrprf x234567890" and it didn't
truncate.  I can sign on with it as well.  No OV here.

I am working on a client's system (V5R1) and, to install some software,
need to create a user profile which is ten characters long.  However,
the system truncates it to 8 characters for the benefit of OfficeVision
(which they don't use and which I don't think is installed).

It is so many years since I last had this problem, I cannot remember how
to fix it.  Can anyone help please?
