The place to look is (if you have it installed on your iSeries/i5 
platform) QSYSINC/H(ERRNO) which gives all the standard "ERRNO" values.

The one you got, 3489, is defined there as:

#define ENOSYSRSC       3489 /*  System resources not available to compl 
*/

which is a cryptic way to say that some resource you need is not available 
to that batch job.

Error found with QSH session, reason code 4, errno 3489

 No line number info, so I can't figure out what's going on.  When I run
interactive, it works OK.

 Where can I find what errno 3489 is?
