Often times you can figure it out by looking at your own system.
DSPSFWRSC. But the messages you are getting is going to require you going
into
WRKLICINF
If you see any with a
Compliance type . . . . . . : *KEYED
and, if you roll down on that one, and see:
Expiration date . . . . . : (anything other than *NONE)
then contact your business partner to get a key. This may involve a call
from you to a license key 800# located offshore in Denmark I believe.
see also CHGLICINF and ADDLICKEY.
Another thing that might benefit you is
DSPLOG PERIOD((*AVAIL *BEGIN)) MSGID(CPI9E75 CPI9E77 CPF9E7D CPF9E72
CPF9E17)
If you want to know what any of those message are do

Subject
Feature Codes

Is there somewhere in the vast wasteland that IBM calls its website that
lists all the various feature codes and what they stand for?

we are getting some license exceeded messages in the qsysopr message queue

and I need to figure out what is what.

Any help would be appreciated.

Douglas
