YX1 and YY1 files look okay when running from in the query by F5.....
same fields what I used for third query defined accordingly...
since files look okay , does that info about fields is necessary to review?

What do your YX1 and YY1 files look like - are they ok when 
viewed in query (or even with DSPPFM) ?
What are the field types used for the above files ?

Needless to say I have no experience of DBCS....
