        I'm no expert on SQL but....

Since u have a query in existence, u can use the RTVQMQRY command

Create a source file first then:
RTVQMQRY QMQRY(QRYLIB/QRY) SRCFILE(YOURLIB/QMQSRC) ALWQRYDFN(*YES)

This will extract an SQL equivalent.
