That seems as likely an explanation as any. Very likely the matter of what KBDTYPE shows up in the *DEVD is just a side-effect, and what we're looking at is something from some obsolete terminal (obsolete as in "did 5252s really have two screens and keyboards looking in opposite directions??")


At no time did I touch the national/multinational setting.
