A savefile can be thought of as a zip file in the pc world. To put data into a save file you use one of the save cmds like "savobj" "savlib" and many others. to get data back out we use the correct restore cmd for have things were saved. If you did a "savlib" to data in the savefile then in most cases you would use the "rstlib" command.

Almost anything that can be saved to tape via a save command and be places (saved) to a savefile (savf)

Would someone be kind enough to explain to me how to "un" pack a save file once it has been transferred to the 400?
