I have found that when updating Client Access (or, in its new incarnation "iSeries Access" - which is just stupid - why didn't they call it i5 Access?), four of the last five times it has failed on me, requiring complete uninstallation followed by reinstallation of the entire package.

Nowadays, I just uninstall and reinstall instead of mucking around with it!

Kind of reminds me of the Windows 95 days...

Regards,
Steve

Kent,

Removing/reinstalling iSeries Access took care of it. Thanks for the
pointer!

Richard

Richard,

We ran into a similar problem when we updated our clients from iSeries
Access V5R2 to V5R3. It didn't matter which Win OS was on the PC. We
ended up removing and reinstalling iSeries Access. After that, we were
able to run SQL scripts again.
