He is not disabled.  He has been signing on using Mochasoft in the mean
time.  The problem has nothing to do with the iSeries but all to do with a
corrupt install of crappy Windoze software.

Can the gent sign on to someone else's 5250 session to see if his profile 
is disabled or some such animal?
Have you tried starting iSeries Navigator and removing/readding the 
connection?
