Wal-Mart does require that you use the AS2 protocol for a direct-link
communication with them. We use Trailblazer systems - their product is
100% native to the iSeries. We also use their FTP product. Plus, they
integrate very well with Inovis (Peregrine/Harbinger) Trusted Link,
which is our EDI Mapper.

As for getting examples of their maps, Wal-Mart provides complete EDI
documentation on their Retail Link website. If your company does
business with them, someone in your organization will have a user ID for
this.

Has anyone set up EDI with Wal-Mart? If so could you please let me know
of any quirks or things that might make this a difficult project? Also
if it is possible to get an example invoice or something along those
lines it would be helpful.

Thanks,
Jeff
