You have not run the procedure to create space for the new Lic

1. go licpgm
2. option 5 prepare for install
Select "Allocate additional space for LIC"

This does not take effect until after IPL. Then you will be able to
verify. Just did it last weekend.

It went very smoothly. We had a second image catalog for PTF's so after
the install up to restricted state, we then loaded the PTF's. We
started at 6:00pm with complete backup and was done with upgrade by
4:00am. Only 10 hours to upgrade an 820 with 1100 CPW, 383GB @ 83% and
8 gig of memory.

We are beginning an upgrade to V5r3 from V5r2 on a model 810. I have
created an image catalog, and now I'm trying to verify the catalog.
I'm getting an error
VERIFICATION OF IMAGE CATALOG FAILED WITH REASON CODE 02. REFER TO THE

RECOVERY PROCEDURES IN THE SOFTWARE INSTALLATION MANUAL, SC41-5120,
FOR
  REASON CODE RECOVERY INFORMATION.

Verification for image catalog UPGRADE53 failed.

I don't seem to have this manual. Can someone tell me what this means,
or if anyone knows a link for this manual online?
Thanks
