RE: CODING that locks backup

I think I just had a recent post in which I had an IFS save 'hang' for 
hours - no MSGW.  Tried ENDJOB - waited what I thought was a long time. 
Tried ENDJOBABN - big mistake.  Job ended - but it left all the IFS 
objects locked.  Had to IPL our 570 at 10:30am midweek.  Not the most 
popular event.  Especially since someone flipped a breaker the week before 
and killed the power to the UPS and nobody was in the computer room to 
notice.  We found out the hard way that the UPS is good for 45 minutes. 
And the breaker happened to be between the generator and the UPS (thus 
that was money down the @#$%hole).  As I type, there is a gentleman 
working on the UPS to SMS several cell phones if this @#$% happens again.
