I want to change the phone jack used by Fax/400. The jack I want to change
to requires dialing 9 for an outside line so I'm looking for a way to put a
"9," in front of all faxes automatically.

Searched the archives and manuals with no luck. Found an APAR from 1997(!)
online with instructions on creating a data area. Due to the document's age
and the fact it refers to 5798-RYC and 5798-RZT instead of 5798-FAX, I'm
really leery of trying that. <g>

Is anyone doing this? Short of putting a "9," in front of every number in
the database?

We use the internal modem for faxing. Thanks for any help.
