I vaguely remember something about running Linux at the same time as OS/400 on an AS/400? Am I mistaken?

IBM's web site mentions two Linux flavors which will run on an i5 iSeries:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS for POWER Version 3
SuSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 for POWER
Is there a preferred or recommended Linux which runs in an LPAR on an i5 iSeries system?
