Yeah, we were a little puzzled at first, as it never got to the message processing 01% of objects, so we waited and waited, and then said something's not right. We did a System Request, took option 6, and in the QSYSOPR Msgq the message was being displayed about internal error.

Also, we thought it weird that we didn't see the processor light flash nor did we hear the disk drives "churning". Amazing the basics in computing that you rely on to figure out something isn't working.

How did you know that your RCLSTG was hung? Being as ours can run 14 hours. And on another machine that we do more often, the number of objects processed often stays at a certain number for a couple of hours.
