Have you looked at the Hardware Information Center CD? You can create a
customized setup checklist based on your specifics.

Creating a customized initial server setup checklist
To complete this interview, you need to know the following information
about your order:

Machine type and model number of your server
Whether you plan to configure logical partitions
What kind of console you plan to use
What operating systems you plan to run on the server or logical
partitions
Whether you plan to install the server into a rack
Whether you plan to enable Capacity on Demand

Hope this helps.

Subject: I5 Model 520

Good Morning

The company I am working for just received in an I5 Model 520 with a
0588 expansion unit. Both are rack mount units. According to IBM, this
is a customer install. There was NO documentation with the system for
install except a sheet that stated to go to the I5 series hardware
website to get the instructions for installation.

Has anyone done an install like this? Where did you find decent install
instructions? Can anyone give me a hints an this type installation.
This is a new install, no upgrades.

Thanks in advance
