RE: Month, day, year fields

I can't think of one, Rob.  I also like using timestamp fields because
if you don't include them in a logical and write to that format, they
get initialized with the current time/date.  Yeah, you need to learn to
use the date BIFs, but that's a small price to pay, I think.
