I have been to two COMMONs in Las Vegas. The first one was split between
two hotels diagonally across the strip from the other one, and you couldn't
move from hotel to hotel without someone trying to sell you a woman. It
was novel on the first day, but was fairly grating by the end.

So COMMON bitched to the Hotel Bureau, the they moved us to a split between
the famous Tailhook Hilton, and the close by convention center. That's
where no one (figuratively speaking) was gambling, so the rumor is that we
were uninvited.

Rick,

As I understand it, COMMON had a great time in Vegas (Al, may correct me
here ), but the problem is that COMMON attendees are those that actually
ATTEND the sessions and don't waste their time in the damn casino's...and
Vegas is more interested in people spending thier time in the casino's
than having a good conference... :)
