Excuse the redundancy but the inclusion of both printer device descriptions
has thrown me off.

So if you take an *IPDS spool file and print it to WV17 it prints
differently than the same spool file created as *AFPDS and sent to the same
WV17 printer.

Note: I would expect the same spool file printed to WV17 and WV17HPT to
print differently.  That's simply a limitation between the *AFPDS to HPT
conversion.
