Me too :-) obviously. They just mentioned this but said the twin-ax card in
the printer is bad so once that is replaced I'm sure it will still work. But
since we are going to be recabling the are anyway...

yeah, I figured something akin to line drop or impedance issues...

Also, if you're using balluns, make sure they're the same on both
ends...we've had problems with mixing vendors on the same string...

But, recommended or not, I've mixed/matched twinax and balluns in series
on the same string...and it worked fine...until the network guys decided
it couldn't work... :)
