RE: is this a hint or what?

When you exit SEU a totally non disruptive message appears at the bottom 
of the screen where you confirm that you want to save it, and if you want 
to resequence it.  It looks like:

'Have you tried the modern alternative to SEU? Press F1 for more details.'

And it's message id is EDT0630

And the one from WRKMBRPDM is:

'Have you tried the modern alternative to PDM? Press F1 for more details.'

And it's message id is PDM0760.

Again, totally nondisruptive.  In fact, if I do WRKMBRPDM MYLIB/MYSRCFILE 
AP* it gets overlaid with 'This is a subsetted list.'

Frankly I don't think it's something to get your panties in a knot over.
