AFP page segment printing

I've run into a few problems printing page segments using the DDS keyword
PAGSEG.  I'm hoping others here have more info or tips for the following.

The page segments contain image data (IOCA) and come from various sources.
If I don't use *SIZE and/or *ROTATION,  the page segments print correctly on
an HP laser printer (remote printer, using HPT).

By using a printer with an IPDS card, I can get the *SIZE parms to work but
still no luck with *ROTATION.


The infocenter page on PAGSEG indicates:

"Note: If the rotation parameter is omitted,
    then page segments are not automatically rotated
    when using the PAGRTT parameter on the printer file.
    Feature PSF/400 is required for use of this keyword."

Not sure if the means PSF/400 is required to do rotation (period)
or to handle PAGRTT rotation.


Are any of these the PSF/400 required for the above ?

There's also a DDS compiler bug with PAGSEG where when all the parameters
are specified using program fields.  It fails to compile on V4R5, V5R1 and
V5R2.   Fortunately, there's a PTF for V5R3  ( SI13063 ), but how can I
cross reference it to the PTF (if any) for V5R1 and V5R2 ?
