Thank's Al. OK now.

I know that QUSRSYS is in SAVLIB *ALLUSR and I have some peaces from QUSRSYS
but it was not complete. I took this job 6 months ago and saves were in place
but I know now that system was alive at SAVLIB time. So files with exclusive
control were not saved as some QAOK* files. When you have such problems you see
the quality of your saves. We will do better in the future.

I have now installed QUSRSYS. It did'nt destroy files and it works well now.

Some details about our problem :
I did'nt experience such problems in my whole life. We had a power problem on
monday. Power was replaced on same day. But it probably initiated a disk
failure in RAID system. Automatic call to IBM did not work and we were not
informed too. On friday second disk failure. This time we were informed because
system did'nt work anymore. Disk was replaced. I tried my whole week-end to
recover from (corrupted) saves. I was neer to restart on monday and we had a
third disk failure. Again replacement and this time we asked IBM to change
controller. Hope we will start applications soon. System seemes OK now.

Bye.

If you prompt the help text for SAVLIB, QUSRSYS is contained in the group
*ALLUSR, not *IBM. Hopefully, you did a SAVLIB *NONSYS after you
installed, and you could get it from there. If you re-install QUSRSYS,
other customizations might be lost.

If you do not have a SAVLIB *NONSYS, and no further save of QUSRSYS, I
suggest that you re-install QUSRSYS from PID media as a slip install. You
will then have to re-PTF.

hi all,

I try to install some IBM stuff after scratch of à 9406-820 in V4R5 because
we have no SAVLIB *IBM. Unfortunately QAOKP01A from QUSRSYS couln't be
saved and system nead it on RSTDLO or install LIC. I have no AS/400 with
same version. How can I procede to recover ? Do I have to re-install
QUSRSYS from "Install LIC pgm" ? In this case will other objects be
destroyed ?

Thanks.
