Even though we averaged 10-15+ years experience, everyone learned
something new (and useful) preparing for a certification. We required
RPG IV Developer for everyone, and Systems Administration
if doing config & setup work. Within the group we covered most other
iSeries certs. IBM does require certain certs to be a Partner.
