I have a popup keypad and supporting macros that has all the combinations of colors and attributes. If anyone is interested, let me know off-list. It is based, I think, on the rmb5250 keypad that is shipped with iSeries Access (is it shipped with it?). It also has all the F-keys on a different pad, and the other key functions on yet another pad.

You mean, how do you type a hex'28'?

Well, with Client Access, just assign "APL 28" (w/o the quotes) to one of
your keys in the keyboard mapper. For example, I define:
Alt-W: apl 22
Alt-G: apl 20
Alt-R: apl 28
Alt-B: apl 3A
Alt-P: apl 38
Alt-Y: apl 32

You can guess the colors by the letter of the Alt- key.
